Women appreciate the thought. Believe me, they do the same thing too they just usually aren't honest about it. They know you want to have your options open so you can find your best possible mate. They feel the same way. It's just that everyone assumes that this approach is simply not allowed. That's just the way its been for so long in our supposedly monogamous culture.
Things aren't the same as they used to be. People married mostly for convenience in the old days. Also, you just didn't meet as many available women in your day to day life in the past. We live in a bigger,faster, more efficient world and dating is changing.
When you're honest with a girl about the fact that you're seeing other women and plan to keep doing so until you find the right "one", you probably expect to get a slap in the face or at the least a polite "No thank you" but for the most part you'll find that the opposite happens. If done right your honesty and self assured approach will come across as bold and progressive. It also helps that women love a challenge. Any girl with a little self confidence will see this as a chance to prove herself.
